Around the year 1730, five brothers migrated to the south of China with the Hakka people in search of better fortune. Of the 5 brothers, only 3 were known by name, Zhen Kuen, Zhen Gue and Zhen Len. Each of the brothers were given a scroll by their father, containing a generation poem, wishing them 50 generations (1000 years) of health and happiness. Zhen Kuen settled in the small village of Niu Fu, in Guang Dong province. Zhen Keun became the progenitor of the Chin Clan in Niu Fu Village.
